HYDROGEN (H2) SUSHI WAGON (food cart)
A working prototype of the H2 Sushi Wagon is now available for Southern California events. This food cart measures 84“W x 42“D x 72”H.
This environmentally friendly cart runs on clean power and with no emissions. It features photovoltaic panels on its roof. These panels power its daytime operations as well as an electrolyzer that makes hydrogen from water. The hydrogen is stored in an on-board tank - and at night, or on cloudy days, it is supplied to an onboard fuel cell to generate the electricity needed to run the food cart.
- THE H2 SUSHI WAGON PROMISE -
Hot dog carts, food stalls, and backyard BBQs are ubiquitous at public and private events throughout the world. They use propane and/or electricity provided by generators driven by gas or diesel engines. Both power sources generate significant CO2 emissions as well as lots of criteria pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, particulate matter and volatile organic compounds. The H2 Sushi Wagon does away with all such emissions. It holds the promise to smoothly and elegantly transition this food industry segment into a cleaner and healthier future.
